Where can I go to take a class on decorating cakes and cupcakes?

I am wondering if there are any places in the Bay Area that has classes to teach me how to decorate cupcakes and cakes. I've been experimenting and doing soe baking at home. I can't seem to decorate my cupcake/cakes like the store bought stuff.

thanks

Sur La Table is offering cake decorating classes in San Francisco:

I recently took a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class which I enjoyed.

Tante Marie is also fantastic, but pricey.

Cake Art in San Rafael also offers lots of courses. Haven't gone, but have heard lots of good things.

Try your local Michael's store, they have some cake decoration classes. If your nearest one doesn't have it, other stores may have it. It's based on Wilton method.

Spun Sugar in Berkeley has great classes. They're expenses, but after the American Cake Decorating series you'll have a ton of basics down.

Good question, I can cook but my baking skills are zero. Maybe a place to start would be - http://www.sfbi.com/courses.html
