Try Atomic Wings or Brother Jimmy's. Atomic definitely doesnt have weekly specials, but Brother's may! Regardless, theyre both fantastic!

I know the Resavoir on University does a 10 cent wing night. I think its mondays but not sure. They do a classic bar-food wing, very tasty.

                  25 cents...

I don't think ANYWHERE has 10 cent wings anymore..

Croxley's Alehouse also has decent wings for 10 cents from what I remember.

Ozzie's in West View is a great dive bar with 25 cent wings and $1 Yuengling drafts on Thursday nights. The wings aren't the best ever, but they are certainly edible, particularly for the price. No breading and a variety of sauce choices.

i happen to really like 1849
but what you might want is down the hatch's unlimited wings & beer on weekends for $20. they are atomic wings and they're great there. those 2 and blondies are among my faves. and there was a wings thread not too long ago if you search!

I don't know any weekly wing deals. But for a birthday wing deal, nothing beats Dive Bar (96th St.). If you go on your birthday, they will give you as many wings as you are years. For free. And the wings are pretty good too.

Dive Bar wings are gross, they are super-sweet, no spice whatsoever.

Darth !!! Thanks to *you* I now know that Blondies has AYCE wings on Monday's for $11.95. When I was in college, we'd get AYCE wings on Wednesday's at TGIF's for $5.95 ! Oh the memories. Pitchers of beer were 5 bucks.

1849 has wing specials but they bread their wings and are really heavy/greasy. Barrow Street Ale House aren't that great. Social's are decent. Dewey's Flatiron are also decent. With the need to pub and grub it in order to watch my beloved Steelers I've tried many a NYC wing - none are that impressive.

I've been to 1849 many times and there is no breading on the wings. Its skin IS fattier and deep fried.

1849 certainly does NOT bread their wings. I go there at least once a week for a dinner of 20 wings each! Their hot wings are the stuff of legend.

Ok then - If they don't bread their wings the thick layer of crumbling grossness is very unappealing. I seriously thought it was breading.

That crunchy skin is the best part of a Buffalo wing! I can't stand the greasy mush that comes out at other bars. But even if you don't like 1849's wings, you've got to admit those nachos are plenty impressive.

I too like 1849 wings. I always ask for hot sauce on the side so that the skin remains crunchy.

Do they have a minimum number of wings you have to get?

There's a maximum of 10 per person per order. I don't know if there's a minimum as I've never ordered less than 10.

Does anyone how good the beer selection is at 1849? Especially with their 1/2 price happy hours?

Pretty standard selection of bottles. Drafts are pretty much the same, though they also have Magic Hat and Yuengling.
