Steak options, San Jose area

My husband's birthday is today. We've narrowed the choices down to these three - Alexander's in Cupertino, Arcadia in San Jose (Marriott) or Grill on the Alley in San Jose (Fairmont). The most important criteria is the quality. If you had to pick one of these places, which one would it be? Thanks!!

If you're willing to extend your geography abit and if you're looking for a more traditional steakhouse, you might want to look at Forbes Mill in Los Gatos. The 3 you picked are all good, but don't fit my midwestern view of what a steakhouse should be ...

I've been to the Grill and Alexander's (several times) and I would say Alexander's is a bit better if your criterion is quality. In general I would avoid hotel restaurants in SJ, although the Grill is pretty decent. There have several reviews on Alexander's in the past on this board if you do a quick search.
