Sake moved from Spirits board to Beer board?

Hello, just noticed that my topic of "Sake novice seeks recommendation" has been moved to Beer from Spirits. May I please know why? I first thought this belonged under Wine (may be for rice wine) but then wasn't sure if they were the same thing.

An argument could be made for any of the three boards, but because Sake is brewed rather than distilled, we move discussion of it to the Beer board.

Dear Chowhound team,

I would like to email the Chow staff to tell them about an upcoming program at the New York Public Library called "Julia Child in America," featuring Dan Barber, David Kamp, Molly O'Neill, Melanie Rehak and Laura Shapiro. But I can't find any email addresses of staff on your site! How do I go about suggesting an event they might like to announce or report on (or attend as press comps for that matter)?
