Barefoot Contessa Lemon Yogurt Cake

Anyone made this recipe?

I was thumbing through her At Home cookbook on my lunch today and noticed this recipe. The notes said it's a variation of her original lemon cake which I really love. It's my favorite cake to make.

Wondering how the yogurt version compares?

LOVE this recipe! I've only made it once, but I have fond memories of it... Definitely try it out - you'll probably be surprised by how much you like it. Enjoy!

Can someone paraphrase the recipe please?

The recipe is available on the foodnetwork website. Put "Ina and Lemon Yogurt Cake" in the search box and it should come up.

I make it all the time- I actually like it better than the more fattening version, the taste is clearer. I think that Dorie Greenspan has a version of this cake as well.

It is delicious! I have never tried the original version, but this was wonderfully light and just the perfect lemon flavor. It was not dense or spongy at all.

This cake is divine. Tastes great and is quite pretty to see with all the glaze and icing on top. I served it a few weeks ago after lunch and it was universally loved.

I did not care for it at all. The texture just wasn't light and tender as you would get with the full fat version, too dense and spongy for me, personally. I used full fat yogurt.
