Elements Asia in Lawrenceville?

Has anyone tried Elements Asia in Lawrenceville?

  1. I just went so will answer my own was actually pretty good--Asian fusion with a nice but casual atmosphere--although located in an anonymous strip mall. Pot stickers were so-so, but shrimp and mango roll was quite good. We also had a very nice Thai seafood curry and "three musketeers"--scallops, shrimp, and chicken in spicy garlic sauce. The mango chicken and crispy scallops were also good, although I would probably not get them again. But many interesting looking things on the menu. I will definitely go back--I think it beats the other options for Asian food in the Princeton area.

Curious as to how the service is these days. Ate there several times, but not in the last six months or so. Food was good, a nice alternative to Sunny Garden, although maybe a sliver more expensive. But always found the "reservation" system to be lacking - waits of up to 30 minutes even with a reservation. So haven't been back, not worth the hassle.

Service was fine--we had a reservation, but there seemed to be tables available, and there was no wait. Food came very quickly.

    2. My parents like it and have ordered takeout from there a few times when family is visiting. Since I've never eaten in the restaurant I can only speak to the takeout. The first time they ordered I tried a few pieces of the sushi and found it very lacking. The other dishes we've tried over the course of two takeout visits - potstickers, chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce, creaky chicken, ginger chicken, sauteed string beans and garlic shrimp - were all good but nothing I'd go out of my way for.

      1. I eat here pretty regularly for lunch, never been for dinner. The lunch offerings, many of which mentioned by SarahEats, are all solid -- ginger chicken, chicken and eggplant, and shredded beef all quite good. Sushi offerings are also pretty good, but I'm no expert there.
