birthday dinner in burbank/studio city?

We're going to Dimples in Burbank tonight for my husband's b-day party around 9 and he wanted to have a small dinner beforehand - probably 5 to 7of us - preferably someplace not too far from there. We live in Studio City so I'm thinking anyplace between the two would also work. He hasn't specified what kind of food he wants but he and I are vegetarian and might have other vegetarians with us as well. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I would agree that gindi thai is actually pretty good. Great cocktails too and reasonable prices for beer and wine. Some servers have been wonderful, some, not so much.
I still prefer CHADAKA THAI on SanFernando Rd. between Magnolia and Palm.
Their bar is beautiful and the room is pretty. The food is fresh and delicious and can be made to what ever spice level you prefer. Lots of veggi options but amazing beef and other animal bits.
      Enjoy!

      Second Ca del Sole.

      Bistro Provence

      Le Petite Chateau

Also, maybe Risotto or come west to Il Tiramisu or Max on Sherman Oaks; I know they're the opposite direction, but they're nice for celebratory dinners.

Thank you guys for the recommendations - he ended up not wanting to go to dinner after all but it's good to know where to go for future reference!
