Flavio's Italian Kitchen in Tustin

For 20+ years there has been a neighborhood ITALIAN restaurant in Tustin (corner of Newport Ave & MacFadden, across from Sushi Wasabi) where Flavio worked.

It was called Angie's for several years then Vineyard Terrace that last few years.
Flavio was able to become the owner about 5 months ago, happy story.

The food is straight forward local Red Sauce that is above average.

Some of the Recommended dishes are:
Caesar Salad
Lasagna
Pizza
Any of the Specials
Corkage $5-

Thanks for the Flavio's tip. We stopped going to Pina's because often the rolls were burned (and they still served them) and the menu is just too boring.

I can't say better than Pina's because they are different. Haven't been lately.

Don't know if I would call the Flavio's Pizza thin crust but it's decent.
