Good Babka near 32nd and 5th

I usually get babka for breaking the Yom Kippur fast in Jewish Williamsburg, but didn't have time this year. Any suggestions of a place to get a decent chocolate babka near my office at 32nd and 5th?

(I'm also posting on the Outer Boroughs board for a place near my house in Carroll Gardens if anyone knows of anything there...)

Thanks!

Maybe it's too late, but I'm pretty sure they have it at Todaro Bros., 2nd ave and about 31st Street. Call first.

ended up getting chocolate and cinnamon at whole foods. they were surprisingly good. so good in fact that i gorged on the leftovers last night until i got a belly ache.

It may not exactly qualify as "babka," but Zabar's sells something called Russian coffee cake that is out of this world!

I agree. Zabar's Russian Coffee Cake is unbelievable! You could just plotz!

Are you willing to walk 10 blocks to Eisenberg's on 22nd and 5th? They've got good babka.
