Surprised no one has mentioned Black Hound. More interesting than the cupcake bakeries and pretty.

Amy's Bakery. Got a chocolate cake for my boyfriend's birthday -- exceptional. Comments I got were "This is the best cake I've ever eaten." I was beyond impressed.

I second Amy's Bakery - their cakes really are the best. yummy and moist. I've also had cake from Billy's and was a little disappointed . . .

I really like Amy's too, but I prefer Billy's. Have never been disappointed there, except by the service.

My vote is always for Cupcake Cafe. Best tasting cakes as well as most beautiful!

I second the vote for Black Hound. Incredible cakes that are infinitely better than any of those places that specialize in cupcakes.

What about Make My Cake?!? Their cakes are fantastic, especially the coconut and the red velvet.
