Any comments on La Toque in Napa? How does it compare to other options, excluding the French Laundry?

We have had several simply outstanding dinners there. I look at it as the French Laundry without the attitude. It's also less expensive although certainly not inexpensive by any means. I highly recommend it.

We had one of the best meals ever at La Toque. The food was superb and actually very reasonable for the price considering the quality and quantity you get. I'll definitely go back when we get a chance.
If you choose to get wine with your meal, that can get expensive, very expensive. There is an excellent selections of wine, some with very high price tags (some in the thousands and a handful in the ten-thousands)....A cheaper option may be bringing your own wine and paying the corkage.
