I know this thread is about cookware, however, I am on the search for some nice serveware such as serving bowls, dip bowls, platters, etc that have hand painted designs, not plain... (similar to the ones used on food network, paula deen, racheal ray, etc...)

Does anyone know where I can purchase these online?? Thanks in advance!!

I don't think there's any one place where the props used on the food network are purchased. But terrific places to look for stuff like this are Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Tuesday Morning etc. You never know what you'll find - they can have very high quality pieces for fantastic prices. Also, eBay is a great source as are high quality craft shows and online sources like sur la table and Napastyle. Happy hunting!

Terri C - not sure what style you are looking for, but I just ordered a gorgeous fern platter for my DIL from www.wilzpottery.com. Handmade in Pennsylvania, really unusual designs...I was very pleased with them. I've also had really good luck finding interesting serving pieces at thrift stores and estate sales.

The King Arthur baking catalog has some very pretty imported pieces, but they aren't inexpensive.
