Any recommendations from NYC chowhounds? I had the most remarkable cuttlefish risotto in Vienna and would like to try it at home--thanks!
The Chinese fish and vegetable market on the corner of East Broadway and Catherine Street almost always has fresh cuttlefish. It has plenty of ink on it, if that's what you are looking for.
Both Cosenza and Randazzo fish markets on Arthur Avenue usually have it.
