Iowa City: Where Can I Buy Pomegranate Molasses?

Does anyone know if there are any stores in the Iowa City area that sell pomegranate molasses? I haven't seen it at the New Pioneer Co-op or HyVee.

I would think the only place you stand a remote chance of finding it is at Prairie Table on Washington between Linn and Dubuque. They're pretty good about ordering stuff, too, as is the CoOp.

You might ask around at the farmer's market across from the Co-op on Wednesdays or at Sycamore Mall on Tuesdays. If no one there has it, odds are they'll know where to get it.

If you can't find it it's pretty easy to make from bottled pomegranate juice, sugar, and lemon juice. I don't know if external links are allowed here but a little bit of web searching will turn up a recipe or ten.

This is a little tardy, but any middle eastern grocery in town (there are at least a couple)will have pomegranate molasses. it's a staple. Chong's might even have it - they have historically sold some middle eastern food.
