birthday dinner in the Richmond District tonight
I was excited about trying Aziza, but they're closed tuesdays, bummer. I don't want to go to Chapeau, Clementine, Burma Superstar, or the Richmond. We'll probably end up at 'be my guest', which is cool because I'm kind of in love with that restaurant, but do you have any other ideas? I wanted to go somewhere maybe a tad fancy (but then the obvious fancy places don't appeal to me for various reasons). Thanks for any thoughts.
Sorry a little late...you're probably eating as I type, but in case you're still thinking...you could try Namu on Balboa it is a fusion place... not all that fancy though, but a nice place for a dinner for 2, and tasty.
If you don't mind getting out of the Richmond by a few blocks. The brand new Spruce is causing some buzz on Sacramento St., haven't tried it yet, but my sister did and thought it was buzz worthy. Or across the street is the Magic Flute which is not fantastic, but it sure is a nice place for a date. Both are not far from the Inner Richmond.
