How is the food there? Is it worth trying?

I work in the Haight and have had a few lunches there in the past couple of years. I think the place is pretty lousy. Portions are enormous, service is slow, and flies abound. The Thai noodle shop three or so blocks east is a much better choice.

Make sure you get some of the seasoned edamame for an appetizer. They are truly addictive.

Oh yes, it's one of the best deals in town and oh so tasty. Most of their noodle dishes are a sort of Asian fusion hybrid, which would normally turn me off, but they do a wonderful job. Prices are crazy affordable for the amount of food you get.

Definitely. It's at the top of my favorite cheap eats list. Food is healthy and fresh, the menu says it's prepared in citrus juice rather than oils.
