Outdoor Dining- San Diego Area

I'm visiting San Diego from New York City and am looking for a nice, relaxing outdoor dining experience. I'd prefer something on the water.
We have a car and don't mind driving.
Cuisine is open - sushi, seafood, italian...
Nothing crazy expensive - max $50 pp

Any recommendations?

    Lots of options with great views, but not necessarily the best cuisine. But good choices, maybe a little overpriced...but you pay for the view usually. Check out:

    Prospect Street in La Jolla, overlooking the Cove and the Pacific:
    --Georges at the Cove, and the upstairs, outdoor, more casual Ocean Terrace
    --Crab Catcher
    --Azul

    Coronado:
    --Peohe's

    San Diego Harbor
    --Top of the Fish Market

    Others, of course...just a few to consider.

      no view, but great food and atmosphere can be had at Jayne's Gastropub. They recently opened up their outdoor patio.

      Point Loma Seafoods is a very casual fish spot that's right on the water
