Great Sandwich Place in Murray Hill/Gramercy??

I remember people talking about this great sandwich place on 3rd, I think, but I can't for the life of me find the post again. Any ideas on what it could be? I remembering that it was on 3rd and maybe around the early 30s or high 20s... Thanks for any leads!

Lamazou is it. Plus you can also phone in your order and pick it up if you're in a hurry. My fave is the Lamazou Special #1 - salmon, lemon olive oil, cornichons, red onions, and capers on your choice of bread, resulting in a monster sandwich.

Sarge's Delicatessen....as good as the Carnegie's and Stage's (not as good as Katz's) and Carl's Cheesesteaks, as good as Pat's in Philly.

Lamazou, as others have mentioned, is the place for sandwiches. However, it's strictly take-out. For other good sandwiches, I like Todaro on 2nd Avenue and also this old fashioned deli on 34th Street & 2nd Avenue can't remember the name). Both of these are also take-out.

There is also Pax in that area that makes great sandwiches/salads/soups.
