Evoo Last Night
After seeking advice on a good restaurant/bar from you, my DC was not in the mood for that scene - don't you hate it when that happens!? So, after a brainstorming session we decided to go to Evoo, which neither of us have been to.
What a treat. We shared a lovely beet salad with pistachio, goats cheese, arugula, and apple. My DC had the eggplant neopolitan, their only vegetarian entree. I had the chinese box: mustard glazed shrimp, hoisin braised beef, gingered vegetable-cashew salad and jasmine rice. It was awesome!
The service was friendly and helpful. We did wait a quit a long time for the entrees to arrive, but enjoyed our wine while waiting. And although we didn't need it, parking is available next door.
For me, it was one of the better restaurants I have been to in the Boston area. Good value, interesting menu, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff.

I had a fabulous meal there too on Saturday night - service was a little slow, but the food was wonderful. We also had the beet salad, which was delicious. For my entree, I had the "duck, duck, goose," which was quite luxurious. I had eaten at No.9 Park the night before and, to be honest, found this meal to be much more enjoyable - so fresh and exuberant.
