I will be visiting NYC in October. I'm on a limited budget and therefore would like to visit some of the more upscale restaurant at lunch rather than dinner. In general, are reservations needed for lunch hours as well as the dinner hours at places such as Gotham Bar and Grill, Keens, and Union Square Cafe?

  1. In NYC, reservations are needed or else there is a high possibility of not getting any tables.

    1. Not necessarily at lunch but definitely needed for dinner at all of those places.

      1. You'll want a reservation at USC, unless you want to eat at the bar (and there you'll have a wait unless you come in when they open.
