Cinnamon rolls - help me with my search

I have a craving for just about any type of cinnamon roll. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you!

  1. Flour Bakery in the South End has AMAZING sticky cinnamon buns. I would absolutely recommend them.

Yes, Flour Bakery! The owner won a throwdown against Bobby Flay on the Food Network for best cinnamon buns! She seems to have quite a following.

A tad off-topic, but is it true that you have to order Flour's cinnamon rolls in advance, or is it just the case that they sell out that quickly? Can't even remember where I read that.

Funny about the sticky buns. I tried my first one (and certainly not my last!) on Sunday around 2:00pm in the South End. Very crowded, and there were plenty left. I think they were just out of the oven (nice and warm, unless they microwaved when I wasn't looking). Best sticky bun ever...

Kane's Donuts in Saugus has yummy and huge ones!

      3. It may be too far to get to, but the Semisweet bakery, open weekends in Newburyport, has wonderful classic, big cinnamon buns

        1. I like them at Quebrada in Arlington, and actually the S&S deli has them in Inman Square in the mornings too. Now you have me thinking about them. :)

Bread and Chocolate in Newtonville has deliciois and sinfully gooey pecan sticky rolls. So good and so fattening.

sweet tooth in southie on west broadway - lots of raisins, great frosting - get them warm in the morning around 10:30 (the bakery doesn't open until 10)

          2. I hate to say it, but the cafe at Ikea actually makes wonderful cinnamon rolls. They are so tasty, and I love getting them at the counter all heated up. Mmm.

I stopped in to Panera bread for a quick coffee break and they had a new "pastry". I forget the exact name, but it was a cinnamon roll/pastry with lots of cinnamon and a few nuts with icing on top. What I like about it, in addition to the freshness, was the abundance od cinnamon. It's a twisted shaped pastry(about 3"wide not one of those sticks), and it was really good.
