Has anyone been? Menu looks really interesting (for downtown Pleasanton at least)

We just went to the Oasis grille and wine lounge (they've recently added the wine lounge part). I highly recommend it!! Actually, I'm really surprised it hasn't been raved about on this list. The eggplant borani was the best eggplant I've probably eaten in my life (and being Palestinian I've eaten alot of eggplant)! The waitress said that if I like that dish I would certainly like the pumpkin borani which is the house specialty...so I plan on having that next time I go. Every dish we had was superb. We ordered the chicken kabob, top sirloin kabob and the koobideh kabob (we had our three children with us thus we could try alot of dishes). They were all excellent. We also had the cucumber salata...also a hit. The sauces for the kabobs...to die for. You must go. This is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a while.

My husband and I ate at Oasis and we thought the food was OK, well it was different. The wine was way overpriced and the decor was shabby at best if you look closely. The mens bathroom was embarrassing. They had just opened the full bar and the drinks were way overpriced. Even with a http://restaurant.com coupon I wouldn't eat here again.
