Suggestions for nice Sunday lunch in Napa Valley?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice place for Sunday lunch in the Napa Valley to take my parents (in their early 70s)? I'm looking for something a little less formal than The French Laundry, but something somewhat nice. Bouchon is an option but they've been there before and I'm trying to branch out. Thanks for any suggestions.

  1. I really enjoyed Angele a couple of weeks ago. NIce setting and service. Great food. A few dishes we enjoyed were Oysters, Steak Frites and Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, everything was good. .

Agreed. On a Sunday, Angele is a pleasant place and your parents would receive nice attention, while still being semi casual with a great menu. Aside from Bouchon, Bistro Jeanty in Yountville could also be a good choice.

    2. I absolutely love Cindy's Back Street Kitchen. It feels like you're dining in a converted home. Simple and homey, yet contemporary enough. The menu is excellent too with a lot of choices. You can never go wrong with the Wood oven Duck dish... absolutely perfect! And it's conveniently located one block behind Main Street in Downtown St. Helena, so you can shop and walk around a bit before or after!

      1. Auberge du Soleil, especially if sit outside.
