Pho in Northern MoCo?

A friend and myself vowed to go out for Pho this evening, but the problem is that we have no clue where to go! Anyone have any recommendations for Pho in or preferably north of Gaithersburg?

In Germantown, Pho Song Long isn't bad. Likewise Pho Nam in Gaithersburg.

But honestly, it's worth the extra 10 minute drive down 355 to Pho 75 in Rockville. It's by far and away the best Pho in the area, IMO. In fact, I was there for dinner last night, and had one of the best bowls I've ever had.

    Pho 75 Restaurant
771 Hungerford Dr, Rockville, MD 20850

I totally agree; Pho Nam isn't bad (and I work right across the street from it), but Pho 75 is much better.

The Pho in Fox Chapel Center is good also. I don't know the full name(it is a number, 75 maybe?). It is next to the India Palace (good too!). The fresh shrimp spring rolls are good too!

Adding to this list... Bubble Cafe in Gaithersburg (at corner of QO and 28, in the shopping ctr with Fuddruckers). We enjoy their pho.

I went to Bubble Cafe last night and I did not think it was good. The broth was pretty bland and didnt have that "Pho" taste. It tasted more like Cross Bridge Soup than Pho. Could be because the owners are Chinese and not Vietnamese. The boba was good though but if you want true Pho then Pho 75 is your best bet. Pho Real in Burtonsville also has good Pho sometimes.

Thanks for letting us know... we like it, but we are not pho aficionados at all. We've enjoyed it as something new to this part of town and we live very close by. I'm a little embarrassed to say we were probably there at the same time as you last night... our two naughty little boys would have been hard to miss. Anyhow, we will try Pho 75 when we are down that way.

I think the Pho in Fox Chapel is Pho 81 - we go there for lunch fairly often and it is very good.
