New Hampshire Coast

Friends want to spend the last day of their vacation, Friday, 10/5, chowing along the NH coast (base in Laconia). Where are chow-worthy places for breakfast, lunch & dinner? Outdoor waterfronts? Seafood in rough favorites? Places serving local produce & products? TIA.

Check out recent board posts about Portsmouth NH--there's been a lot of activity.

I don't know if it would be considered in the rough, but the best fried seafood, IMO, is Newick's in Dover Point. It's a huge place right on Great Bay.

Dunno if this is totally out of range for you, but just across the NH/MA border I mean RIGHT across it is La Chiquita. It's a fun place with 170 different tequilas, and really yummy food :)

      Here's a little review I wrote about it a while back: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/431351
