Late Night Dining- dt STL

I will be in St. Louis tonight- downtown more specifically, and with a large group of people that I know will be looking for food in the wee hours of the morning after we leave the bars. What are the best places for late-nights in the city? All suggestions welcome...

  1. White Castle? I dont think there is much open after bar hours. The Delmar Lounge is open till 3...

    1. I'm pretty sure City Diner is 24 hours.

Also, there's always the "true" local diners like Eat Right and Courtesy.

I really think it would be a shame for someone to come to St. Louis and not get a slinger at one of our diners. It's one of our indigenous items, and it's got to be one of the ultimate elixirs for a hangover.

      1. The After 24 Diner on Manchester in the Grove area is open 24/7

        1. I agree that when you visit St. Louis you need to go to the diners late at night. Is Uncle Bill's still open on Kingshighway?

It is, but I haven't heard anyone say much nice about it these days. Maybe we're all just older, and not as intoxicated when we go.

I was always sober - maybe not. I remember the strange glass figurines in the lobby. I used to always look at those and wonder who would buy them. I miss Uncle Bill's.
