Going to NYC this weekend with 15 year old daughter and two friends - looking for fun and relatively reasonable place for breakfast/brunch on Sunday - will be around Union Square - Village location - Thanks
try friend of a farmer on Irving Place. I always take mt parents there when they come into town.
Second Good. The area around Greenwich Ave. is full of options.
Thanks to all of the recs - I can eat brunch in NYC for the next two months now!!
I think the kids will like Coffee Shop, but be warned that the service is generally horrid (surly aspiring models and actresses).
Blue Water Grill. Right on Union Square. Sit outside while the weather is nice.
Petite AbeilleThey might also have fun at City Bakery
Ditch Plains on Downing.
Agree, City Bakery will be fun for them. Great hot chocolate, and if they were into Sex and the City (though when it was still on air, they were probably 11; sheesh!), a scene was filmed there.
Old Devil Moon in East Village offers great Southern style breakfasts. Funky atmosphere. Booths. Would appeal to teenagers, I think. On `11th or 12th, off Avenue A.
