  1. nevermind, cafe flores is not open for dinner on wednesday nights. =(

    1. Not sure if you have any budgetary restrictions, but I'll suggest Grace. Classy decor, great service, top-notch menu.

      1. Angeli Caffe on Melrose, Providence on Melrose, Chez Mimi in SM (ooh, too far! But wait, Pasadena? That's far from downtown!)

Why worry about Weds..I thought you said Monday? A lot of places are closed Monday!

umm, Grace is great, Moun of Tunis is fun,

We just went to Grace for our anniversary and had one of the most perfect evenings out. The noise level is good, the portions are very substantial, the service is well timed without being obsequious, and the prices were very reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. I would give it a VERY strong recommendation.

        2. GRACE.
          for sure.

          1. La Buca on Melrose.

Forgot how much I love La Buca....went for 2 romantic dinners and because the company was so good, the place became a favorite romantic spot without having to get a gussied-up.
Bring some of your favorite bottles of wine. GET RESEVATIONS and don't be late!
              You'll have a great time.
              The food is soooo good.
