Best place for High Tea in Edmonton

First time posting on here. Nice to see so many Edmonton topics.

Anyhow, when I was visiting Vancouver I had high tea for the first time in my life. It was great fun and I want to try it with my friends in Edmonton. I've heard both the Hotel Macdonald and the Arbour Restaurant inside the Rutherford House on the University of Alberta's campus serve high teas. Are there any other places in the city that do? And which, in your opinion, are the best? Any help would be fantastic, thanks in advance.

I think the only other places are outside of the city. Are you willing to drive out?
I've been to the Arbour and it was decent - is more of the "cozy" type of high tea as opposed to the fancier teas you'd get at a Fairmont hotel.

It depends on the length of the drive, but it might be fun to make a day of it. Little suburbs outside of Edmonton like Sherwood Park or St. Alberta are definitely doable. Which places were you thinking of outside of the city?

Try this site for a list of places around Edmonton: http://www.teaguide.net/tearoomsalber...

My personal favorite place for tea is Rutherford House. It IS very cozy, but the scones and raspberry butter are about the best thing I've ever tasted!
