I occasionally ride my bike past a whole slew of bakeries on 4th avenue in Brooklyn, but they always seem to be closed when I pass. Has anyone been to these? Are they worth seeking out? What would you recommend eating there?

hi oolah, i live in sunset park and go to long xing bakery on 8th and 41st often. they also have a branch on 4th ave and one on 9th. they have delicious coconut buns and nut buns. also i like to get a watermelon lichee smoothie when i go there.
try 8th avenue from 45th to 50th for lots of chinese bakeries, and much more.
