ISO Ramos Fizz

After spending a weekend in Reno, I have a new favorite drink---the Ramos fizz. For me, its the perfect blend of creamy, sweet, slightly citrusy gin-infused goodness. Any recommendations for where to get these beauties in the Bay Area? I live in Oakland, but will travel if need be.

  1. The Ramp in the Dogpatch serves Ramos Fizz (although it is one of the 2 times I've ever seen my husband refuse to finish a drink...)

    1. Although they're famous for their Irish Coffee, The Buena Vista [near Ghiralrdelli, cable car turntable, etc.] makes a fine fizz

      1. I tried this for the first time a couple weeks ago at Mike's Cafe in Portola Valley. It's their "house drink". I believe there's are also branches in Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Honestly I thought it was a bit of an acquired taste.

        1. If Fornaio in Burlingame makes a good one. Not sure of the other locations...

            1. The Alembic in the Upper Haight serves Ramos Fizzes only on their daytime menu, which I believe is only offered until 5pm. IMHO, they do a good job, but I haven't been there in a while.

              1. The Orbit Room on Market at Laguna has one on their menu. I haven't tried the Ramos Fizz, but every drink I've had there has been lovingly crafted and delicious.
