Princeton lunch?

travelmad478 Sep 10, 2007 06:40 AM

My colleagues and I will be in Princeton on Thursday for a business meeting. Afterwards, we'll want to grab some lunch--with this crowd, it doesn't need to be fine dining, but not a sandwich place either. Something mid-range is probably best. Any cuisine is OK.

I looked at the Blue Point Grill, but they're not open for lunch. I have read the reviews for one53 and the Hopewell restaurants, but I don't feel like driving north out of Princeton, since we will be heading to the Trenton train station after lunch.

We can also eat somewhere in between Princeton and Trenton, if anyone has any suggestions there.

For Chinese food, Shanghai Park is in Princeton, at 301 N. Harrison St. I've never eaten in that location, but I have been to their original location in Highland Park, and the freshly-made steamed buns (aka soup dumplings) are first-rate!

For Italian try Enzo's in Lawrenceville. It is located right between Princeton and the Trenton Train Station. Good Variety, Veal, Chicken, Pasta, Sandwich and Salads. You should call first they are very small. Check it out at www.enzoscucina.com

Why not try the Witherspoon Grill. While I've never been, friends have recommended the place. http://www.jmgroupprinceton.com/divis...
