We had 'lupper' today at Rosebud and everything (including service) was top notch. I had the wild mushroom and goat cheese omelet and my partner had the gnocchi with sausage and rapini. The gnocchi is also on the dinner menu. Great service, tasty drinks - we'll be back soon.

I had lupper last sunday at the Rosebud and "Terrific" is an adequate description of my experience. I had a massive burger with homemade aioli and caramelized onions, and a much better than average mixed greens with tiny yellow teardrop tomatoes. Burger slightly more cooked than I'd like, but with some pink remaining. I wonder if I could ask for less, but really thick and flavourful. 13$

Also tasted was the "lovey" [sic] sandwhich which was a standard breakfast sandwhich: egg, bacon, avocado, tomato, aioli---but which was a model of its kind. I think 12$

and: navy bean and bacon soup...smooth, rich, hot, bacony. Wintery good comforting soup.

the menu is so cool insofar as unlike at traditional brunches, one is not subject to choose from merely breakfasty or lunchy type options....but is given the freedom to indulge in more suppery ones as well...like risotto or gnocchi. Service was really friendly and the chef was walking around being awesome.

I want the place to remain as near-empty as it was on a sunday for my own selfishness, but would also like to see it fill up so that lupper may prevail over brunch in the battle for noonday supremacy.
