My grandma, who's from NO turns 85 in October. She's moved since Katrina, but we're all coming back to celebrate her. Any classic NO suggestions in the Quarter? Thanks!

when I got hitched we took the older relatives to Arnauds for a pre-pre rehearsal dinner (thought they would appreciate that over the craziness of the next night). Anyway~ we had a private room for 12 and the waitstaff treated us like royalty. I arranged the dinner through the private dining manager and worked with the chef to create a special menu...this also kept the budget in line...

overall it was a fantastic experience and was a great choice for what we were trying to accomplish

if memory serves a 4 course dinner w/drinks & tip ran about $1200...not too bad considering we ate and drank for about 5 hours straight!

    good luck!

Depending on how much you want to spend, I suggest the following (highest priced first)

      Galatoires
      Antoines
      Tujagues
