My mom used to make this years ago; we both lost the recipe.
Anyone have any good ones.
We would have to scoop the slush from the freezer and add a mix (7Up or GAle).

It might not be the same as what you're thinking of, but check out the recipe for the Summer Watermelon Situation on Food Network's website. Watermelon, lemon vodka, coconut juice, lemon, simple syrup. This was a big hit for a recent bbq.

Try Seaside Sunrises:

Freeze cranberry juice ice cubes and OJ ice cubes. When frozen, blend with vodka and cointreau. I usually do 2/3 cran 1/3 OJ and maybe 3/4 vodka 1/4 cointreau. If you're having a party, I would say stock up on the ice cubes because everyone will wnat these!

sounds like our family recipe:
3 1/2 Cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
 mix together
seep 2 green tea bags in 1 cup boiling water for 10 minutes.
add that to mix.
then add 1 6oz frozen orange juice
 1 6 oz frozen lemonade
1 cup gin or vodka

mix and freeze for 24 hrs. scoop into glass and top with ginger ale or lemon-lime or sprite...
Makes about 1/2 gal of slush

That's almost identical to our family recipe!

Except we just use 1 regular Lipton tea bag - not green

And always vodka - no gin.

I made it for my Book Club this summer and it was a big hit - and brought back some fun memories.

Not exactly the same, but in a pinch I've blended together sorbet and vodka. It is so easy, and works so well.

I blend vodka and prepared orange juice (can use other types of juices) from concentrate. Nothing fancy. It freezes to a slushlike consistency due to the vodka. Spoon some out into a glass, pour Sprite or Squirt or what have you. We used to make this in college and, as a 40 year old, I've recently revived it.
