Where to watch women's World Cup

Looking for a pub or casual hangout to watch women's World Cup soccer matches with a like-minded crowd. I don't want to be drowned out by football, but I don't want to sit alone in a corner, either (or else I'd watch at home).

Bonus points for good food/beer and location (Bloor W./Dufferin area). Also, consider this an open invitation to whoever wants to watch the games with me. :-)

    1. Not a pub but casual. On Bloor just east of Dufferin. Pizza Roma has a TV in their bar area at the front of the restaurant. Really good thin-crust pizza. I like the Roma Deluxe. And if they're Italian, they like soccer, right?

      1. Out of the way, but sure to have football are Scallywags on St Clair at Yonge and The Main Event on yonge at Eglinton.

            I just moved to TO, so I don't have that kind of connections yet. :-) But it does sound like fun.

              check out this thread:

              Also, i am a huge soccer fan, and especially of the canadian women. I am also a bit of a hound so if you set something up i'd be interested in attending.

              there is one problem: the games are at 7:30am. So you might want to search for a breakfast bar ;
