Bairrada in Mineola

Any recent experiences at Bairrada in Mineola to report? I am thinking about going there with my family to celebrate my Grandmother's 88th birthday. Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

  1. Last time I tried to go, they weren't taking reservation and there was about a 1 hour wait. It was on a Saturday night. You can try to get a reservation, but I do not think that grandma would enjoy standing for an hour. I like Greenfields in Farmingdale that has a large buffet plus they continuously bring out skewers of all sorts of meat from beef, pork, chicken, lamb all the way to squab and other less available meats.

suggestion, go before the line starts ,call to find out that info and explain your situation some may make an exception due to the situation or have someone(or all ) from the party wait and be seated and you escort the Grandmother for her special dinner If you like the place that much it can be worked out.I myself wouldn't mind if a person on in years or disabled, etc went in before me and especially if the staff prepared me to that fact Good luck and enjoy
