Good Feta in JP?

dena.eva Sep 8, 2007 02:02 PM

Hi - I just moved to JP (near Forest Hills) and am looking for a good Middle Eastern grocery store, particularly one where I could buy a good tub of feta cheese! I don't have a car, but I have a bike and can take the T - does anyone know of a place that wouldn't be too hard for me to get to???

if you can hop on one of the buses that go down washington street to roslindale, you can find plenty of feta at the Roslindale Fish Market, right in the center of Roslindale Village.

The fish market has AMAZING feta and olives. I bought the imported greek feta and it was delicous. Bob's Pita has great pita bread as well. Lamb burgers with feta wrapped in warm pita is awesome.
