Original Joe's, on Taylor near Market. Old time Italian style restaurant.
There's a Thai restaurant whose name escapes me located across the street from the Hilton, but on the Taylor side. It's tiny, but the food was pretty good and inexpensive.
Naan-N-Curry, cheap Pakistani.
