  • 5

i have 16 people needing to go out to a good dinner the weds. before thanksgiving.we need either a quiet area or seperate room , given one hearing impared man.We are all foodies and like interesting or ethnic, great food. cannot be mediocre.keep unpredictible weather in mind.have called yonkers waterfront restaurants and they cannot accomidate.Il Sorriso in Irvington was an unexciting choice but their room is too big.

  1. I have not been there in a while but I know that Santa Fe restaurant in Tarrytown has a party room. the last time I was there the food was very good.

thanks! needs to be more upscale, though, these are real foodies from around the world. just don't want stuffy and formal.

    2. I don't know if Mamaroneck is too far, but Provencal Bistro has a not-too-karge private room that could work. Lusardi's in Larchmont has a pleasant private room as well.

We did our wedding dinner for 20 at the private room at Trotters in White Plains. The food was exceptional, and it would meet your criteria, I think. But did someone recently mention they were closed?

      1. Perhaps the Iron Horse Grill in Pleasantville? I don't know about the noise/location of their private room, but their food has consistently been excellent.

Caravela in Tarrytown used to be quite good, but I don't know about private events and I haven't been there in a couple of years. It's Portuguese and interesting though.

I believe Flirt Sushi in Irvington (on the water) has a private room upstairs. It's certainly ethnic & interesting. http://www.flirtsushi.com/main.htm
