Went tonight to what is billed as one of the top 10 steakhouses in the country, you know, the ones that are independent and are supposed to be the best of the local shops. They are best known for the lists in airline magazines.

Let me say that if MO's in Indianapolis is one of the best, then Lord help us. The wedge salad was delicious. but the signature steak, a 20 oz. ribeye, was tough and lacked flavor. It did not have a nice crust at all, and despite having eaten more than several steers worth of ribeyes, have never had one tough...that is the reason they are ordered: flavor (read fat) and tenderness withouth the blandness of a filet.

Stuffed potato, a half one, weighed in at seven bucks and was pedestrian at best.

Service was great and nice wine list, particularly by the glass. But steak, I'd rather Morton's....
