...to Danforth and Pape, the old Maria's Garden location. Anyone know what happened to Maria and her garden?

It's Three's Company that moved to that spot, not Ten Feet Tall. I believe they bought her existing business.

Yes Three's Company and I honestly can't see how they will last. Went once to the new place, it was very disappointing. Each time I walk by the place is EMPTY. Service was terrible, food was even worse. And that was a simple bacon and eggs - if you can't get that right there is no way I would venture in for dinner. The best part was the owners sat there eating and drinking coffee, never acknowledged us or even looked up to ask how our meal was. What the %&*#??

That's odd. I've always found the owners to be quite pleasant. And the food - while not complicated - I've found to be good. I've had their chicken wrap, the tuna and artichoke sandwich and the grilled veggie with goat cheese sandwich.
The last time I was there the place was very busy... As I said, I've never had a complaint, other than the fact that, in their new location, they're further from me now! :-(

          Ditto here.
Last time I was there--Monday lunch ---they were quite busy. While not spectacular, food is good and tasty. Owners were pleasant as were the servers. They seem to have a lot of regulars that are welcomed by name. All in all a decent neighbourhood place and a welcome relief from dried out meat on a stick.

I have been a number of times (once to the new location) and I've always felt that I was looked after. The food is not meant to be upscale. It's good honest food. I'm sorry that your visit disappointed. I would say that that was not the typical reception that patrons receive, whether you are a regular or a new customer.
