24-hour food joints in San Francisco

Does anyone have suggestions for the best 24-hour food in the San Francisco area? This could be diners, bakeries, street food, even sno-cones -- as long as they're serving til the break of dawn, I'm interested. The wackier, the better. Also, any alternatives to greasy diner food? Thoughts?

I didn't list Happy Donuts because I didn't know they had anything but donuts.

I think the O'Farrell Naan n Curry moved a block, from 478 to 336 (ground floor of the Downtown Center Garage)?

      Yep, that's the sort-of-new address.

For some reason, I thought that the O'Farrell location of Naan N Curry had moved.

If you feel like driving out to Colma, the Colma Cafe at the Lucky Chances Casino is open 24 hours - they have a huge menu of Filipino and Chinese food.

Mr Lauriston's list is nearly exhaustive, but I believe Happy Doughnuts on the corner of 3rd and King serves sandwitches 24 hours a day, along with the doughnuts.

OP also requested "SF area" - the only one I know is Niko's at 23rd Ave in Oakland, near the freeway. I can't *recommend* it, but if we're making lists....

I've always noticed that for a big city SF doesn't have a lot of late night options (back here in CT we have a 24 hour diner in nearly every city / town).
I know the Grubstake is open until 4am every night, but not 24 hours (and trust me, the later you go, the wackier it gets).

            Naan 'n' Curry (O'Farrell branch).

Some other 24-hour places I haven't tried, reports on many of them in the archive:

            All Star Cafe
            Baghdad Cafe
            Cafe Mason
            City Cafe
            Island Cafe (Thurs.-Sat. only)
            King's Diner
            Lori's Diner
            Lucky Penny
            Mel's (some branches, Fri.-Sat. only)
            Orphan Andy's
            Pinecrest Diner
            Silver Restaurant
            Sparky's
            Van Ness Bakery & Cafe
            Video Cafe

Great suggestions, Robert! Do you have any opinions on Van Ness Bakery? I had trouble finding it online.

I don't have opinions on any of those except Naan n Curry. Haven't been to most and the others I haven't been to in years.
