And while you're in the neighborhood you can check out Milan Market (I think it's called Milan International in the phone book) on University and 9th Street - a great Indian market. Not open Sundays, though, last time I tried a year or so ago.

No Greek stores in the Berkely area I know of. Best alternatives are Indus Foods (pan-ethnic halal, lots of Turkish stuff) and Zand (Persian).

There used to be a good Middle Eastern (Yemeni?) grocer on San Pablo south of University but they had a fire and so far as I know never reopened.

Closest actual Greek store I know of is Greek Imports in Daly City.

Sorry I can't tell you the name, it might be pyramid. I seem to remember the picture of a pyramid on the sign, plus arabic writing.

There are two places on Telegraph at about 30th Street. On the east side of Telegraph is some sort of Afgan grocery store. Across the street, on the West side of Telegraph, are two places. One is a fruit/vegetable place, and the other is a more general market. Sorry but I don't recall the names. The fruit/vegetable place always seems crowded with shoppers in ethnic garb of some sort.
