Milwaukee downtown pizza?

Will be in downtown MKE this Friday which is my traditional pizza night. Ordinarily when I travel I have a car and can travel, but this time I will be at the Hilton on Wisconsin Ave downtown without wheels. Any advice on good pizza nearby? Preferably walking, but short cab ride OK. (I try to keep things simple!) Any style fine.

Calderone is a good suggestion. If you want take a short cab ride, both of these are on Brady st/Farwell just north of downtown (for perspective the Hilton is at approx. 800 north, Brady street is 1700 north.

As you'll see from the websites, Zaffiro's is decidedly traditional, Coco Bella upscale. Both are good.

      Try :
      Calderone Club
842 N. Old World Third St.

      Phone: 414-273-3236

The make a decent pizza and have a good wine selection.

I am super-glad to hear someone else recommend Calderone Club. I friend up here suggested we try it next time we're in Milwaukee and it looks like we're going to have to.
