Best Cuban in the City?

My Cuban brother in law is coming to New York for the first time. He lives in California where there are NO authentic cuban restaurants. Where can I take him for cuban food? I've been to Cafe Habana and Cubana Cafe, and while they were both good, I'm looking for somewhere a little more real and a little less hip.

I would also recommend Little Havana on Cornelia St.

My favorite is Rincon Criollo... founded in Havana circa 1950 and moved to NY after the regime change. Not all people agree, so you m ight want to try it yourself before you bring your brother. http://www.chowhound.com/topics/247466

Sophie's is pretty authentic. Multiple locations. Mrs. GG is Cuban so I know.
