Lunch on a *weekday* in Marin County

We are heading up highway 101 on a Thursday, and I'm looking for somewhere good to have lunch.

Preferably not too far off 101, although we're willing to detour a bit for good chow.

Sadly, Pizzeria Picco is not open for lunch during the week, only on weekdays.

Would rather have something fairly casual, which lets out many of the places I have seen on this board (and anyway, most of them aren't open for lunch). Any kind of cuisine would be fine, could be as simple as burrito, pizza, burger, or whatever.

The key idea is that it has to be open for *lunch* on a *Thursday*.

Royal Frank's doors still open?

The b-b-q mussels @ Buckeye are something I crave. Not really a quick spot though if that's what you're looking for.

There's a well above average Taqueria under the freeway on 4th St. in San Rafael (4th & Heatherton or Lincoln maybe.)

Buckeye's Road House is open for lunch and is located within sight of 101 in Mill Valley. Also Yankee Pier in Larkspur is open for lunch every day.

Pier 15 ( owners from Mommas in Wash Sq) It is on the frontage road( next to 101 as you pass through San Rafael going North. Look for harbor drive( near Mazda dealership)
Lots of fun food and you can sit outside. Or a little further north take San Pedro Rd east to Chalet Basque where you can also sit outdoors.

Right off 101 in Mill Valley's Strawberry Shopping Center, there's Pizza Antica, quite sleek but casual -- then you can pick up some dessert/snacks right across the courtyard at the Boulangerie.
