I'm looking for Honey Rum. Living in NY, and not Spain or the Canary Islands, I'm having no luck. Any suggestions? I'd prefer to buy it here, but I'm also willing to order online and have it shipped!

i believe you simply cannot get it in u.s. i am sorry. people make their own--adding honey to rum--not distilling, that would be illegal, of course.

maybe if you wanted to pay arm & leg you could get it from:

Dogfish head seems to make a honey rum - though I am not sure if it tastes anything like that served in the Canary islands. You can order the real thing from http://www.cultdrinks.com/rum_more.asp?id=438&cid=22 they will ship to the states though it costs 15 sterling. Here's the dogfish head one: http://www.wineaccess.com/store/total...

I have spent quite abit of time in the Canary islands as a professional basketball player in spain and italy. I too have brought home case loads each time I've come home for the summers.

JOSHEKG, just curious about your job and how you are able to bring cases home? Have you had as much trouble as I have...
