One in the Hazelton Hotel is definitely the place of the minute. A gf of mine & I were there Sunday. Hap'nin patio and a room most people would like plus great service. We already had dinner plans so only had drinks and apps. The apps were off the map great. First place in Yorkville that's actually worth the money they charge.

re: Chester Eleganté
where did you hear the news? there's been a bunch of things flying back and forth about the hanif harji and claudio aprile pairing and i'm not sure what's the final say.
http://chefdb.com/pl/5932
has them both still there but the word i'm getting is that harji is divesting himself of most of his assets.this article alludes to what i've heard ... http://www.torontolife.com/features/f... but it's TL... so who knows when they heard what they heard and how much value it really has.
as per the op... i personally did not enjoy my experience at trevor as i found the food to be rather lacking. coca's prices do not justify what is served (over cooked food that's meh), if you can ignore the mall setting cava can be quite good although expensive. the wine list was quite nice.

re: pinstripeprincess
This is an excerpt from a Toronto Star article today about celebrity hangouts during TIFF in the Food section:
Was Bar Crudo just a beautiful dream? The 1096 Queen St. W. restaurant was supposed to be a ceviche bar/hotspot, brought to us by Colborne Lane partners Hanif Harji and Claudio Aprile. Then Harji and Aprile apparently parted company. Neither side was willing to comment to the Star last week, but rumour has it they will collaborate.
p.s. I was not impressed by Trevor either.
