Looking for a nice place to get a bite to eat in Brooklyn Heights (or nearby) -- and here comes the tough part -- at 3:00 or so on Friday afternoon. Any suggestions?

There are plenty of great middle eastern options on Atlantic between Court and the waterfront. Could also do fish and chips at Chip Shop.

Are you looking for plain? fancy? I don't live there but get to the neighborhood for work now and then. Fatoosh for middle-eastern, though some here have said it is not as good as it used to be. (I still like it though). There's a place on the Montague just west of Court, casual place that opens onto the street; the pizza I thought was good -- that's al I've ever had there. Don't know the name. And there's a nice espresso and high-end sandwich place a block east of Fatoosh, also near Atlantic, with tables out front.
